Is funny valentine a good villain. Valentine is straight up a villain. You hit a lot of good points. Id also say that hes pretty sociopathic.
So to view Valentine as an anti-villain you basically have to view it from his eyes because in his mind hes doing nothing wrongwell except nearly raping Lucy thats something you cant really justify. Valentine is an amazing character and one of the best if not the best antagonist in Jojo and what I mean to say is not about undermining his a character but I really cant understand how people go to such lenghts to justify his actions dont get me wrong theres no such thing as black and white in SBR but Valentine certainly isnt a hero he uses people for his selfish actions and his own. Funny Valentine is the first main Stand User villain in JoJos Bizarre Adventure series excluding Kars who never became a Stand User whose ability is not associated with time.

Funny Valentine isnt a good guy. I get where people are coming from when they say Funny Valentine is the best villain in JoJo so far and I agree with them but saying anything besides his motives are just is a massive exaggeration. Why do people say that Funny Valentine was the most righteous villain with the most beneficial goal.
Still Pucci is a horrible person and Im not sure the world he wanted was a good one. Part 6 went out of its way to show how delusional Pucci was by walking us through every step of his fall. Funny Valentine on the other.
But the thing elevates Part 7 from simply good or great is Funny Valentine. For some simple reasons about his appeal look no further than his occupation and stand. Funny Valentine is the president of the US and this alone is enough to grab interest from its inherently an occupation that grants legitimacy to his threat as an antagonist how can you fight the president.
Funny Valentine is a man who does wrong things for the right reasons. For the sake of protecting his country and ensuring its prosperity even after he is gone. To him the ends justify the means as long as it ends with his land being better off.

Dio Brando is the villain in two parts while Funny Valentine is the major antagonist in part 7. Both of them are brilliant characters whose qualities appeal to different kinds of people. In certain aspects DIO is the better character and in the others it is Funny Valentine.
